In August 2022, we proudly partnered with The Lighthouse Centre — a Northampton-based charity dedicated to providing holistic treatments to individuals living with long-term medical conditions or cancer. Their mission is to support and enhance the quality of life for patients during some of their most vulnerable times.

The Lighthouse Centre was created with love, empathy, and a true passion for helping others. Founder Gemma Dearsley imagined a pink, sparkly organisation with kindness at its core — a safe haven where people could find comfort, care, and community.

The inspiration for the charity came from a deeply personal experience. While providing Reiki treatments to a close friend nearing the end of her life, Gemma saw firsthand the difference that holistic therapies could make. Her friend, moved by the comfort she received, expressed a final wish: that others could benefit from the same healing support. Gemma turned that wish into reality, founding The Lighthouse Centre in her honour.

TLC at Its HeartIt’s no accident that their initials are TLC — at The Lighthouse Centre, they deliver Tender Loving Care to people who are suffering, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
